John Lester
John Lester is an award-winning singer-songwriter-bassist who has made his mark in both the acoustic and jazz music scenes. He is a two-time winner of the “Song of the Year Award” from West Coast Songwriters, winner of “Best Jazz Song” and “Best Humorous Song” from Northern California Songwriters and he has released four albums of original music. His cover album of rock songs performed as straight ahead jazz, entitled “Jazz?”, made the JazzWeek top 100 charts.
