The 46th Annual Pumpkin Run by Senior Coastsiders
The Pumpkin Run by Senior Coastsiders has been a tradition in Half Moon Bay for many years and takes participants along the beautiful Coastal Trail overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Bay Area artist Richard Art Felix is an internationally exhibited and collected mixed-media artist and public artist.
Wearing signature orange overalls and a straw hat, “Farmer Mike” has become a cornerstone of the Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival. For more than 35 years, festival attendees have flocked to his elevated stage to watch in awe as Farmer Mike, the Pumpkin Picasso, meticulously sculpts giant pumpkins into works of art.
Artist Peter Hazel’s World’s Largest, Giant 5-Ton Mosaic Pumpkin Sculpture on Permanent Display at Cameron's Pub!
The Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival sparked the wild and crazy creative genius of Peter Hazel to design and make the biggest, heaviest pumpkin sculpture the world has ever seen. Even bigger than the whoppers that will win the annual Safeway World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off. It is a mosaic sculpture that measures 11 feet high, 12 feet long, and weighs 10,000 pounds. But, unlike other giant pumpkins, this one is made of steel, cement, and ceramic tile.
He’s the undisputed festival fave … the Prince of Pumpkin Fest!
